Pete, Thank goodness you check the web page. It might not seem so quiet if more members would check the web page. Some of us are working pretty hard to make this event happen, and like you, it seems pretty quiet. There are 25 registered for the show (I checked just before writing this) and that is a little troubling as this is mid week pre show. Maybe the weather is causing folks to wait to sign up, but these are British cars and they are used to damp weather, if that should happen.

Well if only 25 cars show up, then everyone will get a trophy. A nice road trip is planned for Saturday and the Meet & Greet is on for Friday night. I have hopes that it will be a fun weekend. See you there.

Sorry for the silence.  We're in for the M&G as well as the Road Tour.  But Plymouth Watersport is still open.  So, we have to head back after the tour.  We look forward to seeing everybody tonight.

    Jacquelyn,

This is a friendly club with lots of outgoing and welcoming members. At one point during the evening we had over 40 people gathered together around the food and grill. We are friendly, but pretty informal, so we did not have a formal greeting couple to welcome or sign in each guest. During our monthly meetings, we ask if we have any new members, and if we do we always do a round robin introducing ourselves and state what we drive or our role in the club. After a party is well under way, (you stated you came in later), it is difficult to stop and do that kind of introduction.

We are sorry that you felt unwelcomed or unrecognized, but I can assure you it was not intentional. My wife Mary and I are leading the Martha's Vineyard Weekend, and we hope you'll give us another chance. Following the arrival from the ferry, we will gather at the Tashmoo overlook, so that would be a time for us to meet and introduce you to other members of the club. Hope to see you then.      Bill Scott
